Summary
Fayetteville Technical Community College (FTCC) is in compliance with this standard. Several College publications provide comprehensive and appropriate explanations of student rights, responsibilities, and due process.
Narrative
FTCC publishes a comprehensive and appropriate statement of student rights, responsibilities, and due process in several major publications:
The Student Handbook is available at various campus locations and the Student Center. Students, faculty, and staff are directed to the FTCC website for the current version of all publications.
The Student Handbook is available at orientation and through study skills courses (ACA 111 and ACA 115). Curriculum instructors are required to include a statement in their syllabi referring students to the “Student Rights” section of the Student Handbook.
Basic Skills students receive copies of the Basic Skills Student Handbook identifying their rights, responsibilities, and due process. Students, faculty, and staff are directed to the FTCC website for the current version of this publication.
