Narrative
Fayetteville Technical Community College defines and publishes policies regarding appointment and employment of faculty and staff in FTCC’s Employment and Affirmative Action Manual (Section VI-4 “Employment Procedures”). Specific procedures for processing applications for employment and making selections are listed in Section VI-4. The Manual also explains procedures for recruiting applicants (Section VI-3) and filing procedures for grievances (Section VI-7).
Fayetteville Technical Community College publishes notices of vacancies on its official website. A Human Resources representative posts vacancy announcements as appropriate in local, regional, and statewide publications as well as on the FTCC Jobline (910-678-8480), NCCCS website, matchforce.org, careerbuilder.com, higheredjobs.com, various university websites, and at local agencies such as the Employment Security Commission, Public Works Commission (PWC), Cumberland County Schools, and the City of Fayetteville.
